In 1926 the father Dino Marchi
began as a firm specialized in marine and land fitting out; in 1960 his
sons Franco and Ezio joined the nautical field definitively - the first
in Italy to build in crossed lamellar wood - using the most well-known
motorboat and sailing boat designers including Giles, Uffa Fox, Paolo
Caliari, Vallicelli, Yankeedelta, their models continually in demand for
their high quality manufacture.
It is the expertise acquired over three generations of hard work which
places the boatyard in a leading position in comparison to the
industrial firms.
The proud claim of the boatyard is to have maintained a craftsman like
production enabling it to look each small detail in building and
finishing.
Moreover the success of the boatyard is due to the choice of designers
who must ensure modern design, to high standards of seaworthiness even
in extreme conditions and to the flexibility the boatyard has in order
to satisfy every request in fitting out, carrying it out according to
the owner's specifications.
The Marchi boatyards have built countless hulls which are sailing all
over the world.
It is a source of great satisfaction for the boatyard to have exported
the own boats to countries with a strong nautical tradition and renowned
shipbuilders such as U.S.A., England, France, Australia, Germany, Spain,
Japan and United Arab Emirates.
